Innesto Rosso
Janet Chuang, Sean Zhang, Richard Zhong
Innesto Rosso reinterprets the spatial logic of the Ticino borghi to deepen the understanding of the region’s cultural landscape and winemaking heritage. Rather than preserving the village as a historical artifact, the project translates its principles of collective space, sequential movement, and topographic adaptation into a contemporary winery. Embedded within the terrain, the architecture follows the natural contours of the site, allowing production, landscape, and visitor experience to unfold as a continuous journey that reconnects people with the traditions, craftsmanship, and identity of Ticino.
